Turkey's college graduates lagging behind Japanese dropouts
Turkey's college graduates lag behind even Japanese high school dropouts, according to Turkish Education Association's (TED) think tank TEDMEM's "2016 Education Evaluation Report."
The level of education of a university graduate in Turkey is lower than a high school dropout in Japan, the findings of the report showed.
Turkey among lowest in spending per student: OECD
Turkey is one of the countries with the lowest spending per student, according to a report prepared by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The report titled "Education at a Glance 2016" stated that Turkey's public expenditures for primary and secondary education were below the OECD average.

OECD: Teachers' salaries in Turkey below average
