EIB signs three loan agreements worth 300 mln euros with Greece
The European Investment Bank (EIB) on Friday announced the signing of three loan contracts with Greece for which the Finance ministry offers state guarantees.
Two of the contracts, worth 200 million euros, refer to the cooperation of Piraeus Bank and National Bank with EIB to support investments in the agricultural and agri-food sector and the bio-economy sector.
EIB support for young Greek farmers
The European Investment Bank will launch a new, targeted financing product for young farmers in 2020 that will benefit Greek agriculture, according to senior EIB official Andrew McDowell.

40 million euros needed to restore Greek Orthodox orphanage in Istanbul: Report

The European Investment Bank (EIB) will not do any new lending in Turkey linked to the government until at least the end of the year while it carries out a strategy review. EIB supports women and young people at work
The European Investment Bank announced on Tuesday it will work with Greece's systematic banks to provide 500 million euros' worth of loans for new business investment in the country, including dedicated financing for companies across the country that actively support youth employment and the empowerment of women in the workplace.
