Bulgaria: How much will the Early Elections in October Cost?
The government approved the cost plan for the expenses for the preparation and execution of the parliamentary elections on October 2, 2022. The approved funds are in the amount of BGN 70.5(EUR 35.7) million.
Bulgaria’s Prime Minister: Government Allocates BGN 65 Million for Safe Elections
The upcoming parliamentary elections on 4 April will cost the state budget over BGN 65 million.

The government also allocated an additional BGN 9 million to the Central Electoral Commission to secure the machine vote for the upcoming elections to the European Parliament on 26 May.
They will cover additional costs for the CEC to ensure machine vote during the European elections.

The Central Electoral Commission approved 100 election papers for the election of members of the European Parliament from the Republic of Bulgaria on 26 May 2019. The approved papers will be published in the State Newspaper tomorrow.
