Turkey's automotive market grows 4.5% in January-October

Sales of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Turkey rose 4.5% in the January-October period of this year, from the same period of last year, an industry group report showed on Nov. 2.

A total of 614,891 vehicles were sold across Turkey in the first 10 months of this year, the Automotive Distributors' Association said in a statement.

Telekom and Eles present solution for mass charging of electric vehicles

Ljubljana – Telecoms provider Telekom Slovenije and national grid operator ELES have developed a solution for mass charging of electric vehicles which enables intelligent charging and remote control of power consumption. Automotive market grows 24 pct in January-August

Sales of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Turkey jumped 24.3 percent year-on-year in January-August, an industry group report showed on Sept. 2.

Some 501,000 vehicles were sold across Turkey in the first eight months of this year, the Automotive Distributors' Association (ODD) said in a statement.

Roughly 30k vehicles registered in first half of July, of which 6,755 new cars

Roughly 30,000 vehicles were registered in Romania in the first half of July, of which 20,461 units in the "used" category, according to the recently published data of the Driving Permits and Vehicle Registration Regime Directorate (DRPCIV). According to the official statistics, in the analyzed interval, out of the total of the 9,291 new vehicles registered, 6,755 are cars.
