ATHEX: Bourse index adds another 3 percent this week
The last week before the general election ended in the Greek bourse on Friday on yet another 53-month high, as Greek politics is about to experience a shift after 54 months of SYRIZA-led administration. Stocks were split between winners and losers and the blue-chip index was virtually unchanged.
Prices of Heating in Bulgaria is Expected to Rise on Average by 4.5% on July 1, and Electricity - by 3.5%
Two days after the European Parliament elections, the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission proposed a 4.5 percent average increase in the price of heating. The biggest increase is in Razgrad and Gabrovo, there is only a reduction for the company in Sliven.
Employment outlook index at 11-year high for April-June
Almost one in three Greek employers will hire more staff in the next three months if the results of a ManpowerGroup survey on expectations for the second quarter of the year turn out to be correct. The greatest optimism was seen in the sectors of construction, industry, transport, retail and wholesale commerce, as well as water, electricity and natural gas.
61 percent of Turks do not read books: Survey
The number of Turks who "do not read books at all" increased by 8.1 percentage points, reaching 60.9 percent, a recent poll made public on Jan. 30 showed.

Poll suggests many citizens out of touch with EU matters
One in two Greeks (51 percent) would be more likely to vote in the next European Parliament elections (May 2019) if they were better informed about the European Union and its impact on their daily lives, according to a special Eurobarometer titled "Democracy and Elections," published on Monday.
Greek companies delay payments
Among Western European countries, Greece has the highest rate of unpaid debts between companies that are eventually written off, the annual survey on transaction behavior for 2018 by credit insurance company Atradius has revealed.

Museum, archaeological site visits up in May
The number of visitors to Greece's famed archaeological sites and museums rose by 18.2 percent in May this year compared to last, official figures published on Friday showed.
According to the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT), free-admission visits grew 20.2 percent year-on-year, while takings from tickets increased 18.7 percent.

Turkey's industrial production rises in May
Turkey's industrial production rose by 3.5 percent in May compared to the same month last year, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced on July 10.
The electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index saw the biggest rise on an annual basis in May - 6 percent - among all three main sub-indices, TÜİK stated.

In the morning minimum temperatures will be between minus 16 and minus 11 degrees, dropping even further in some regions of the country.
Maximum temperatures will also remain negative.
