Heating allowance application deadline on Dec 8
The electronic platform for the submission of applications for the heating allowance has opened.
Beneficiaries have a December 8 deadline to submit applications.
The first part of the payment of the heating allowance will be paid by December 22, which this year ranges from 100 to 1,000 euros.

The electronic platform for applying for the heating allowance is now open.

Children born as of Wednesday will receive 2,000 euros each
A special handout of 2,000 euros for every child born in Greece will be voted into law after Parliament starts work again in the new year but will apply retroactively as of January 1, 2020.
