Jobless rate in Cyprus at 5.9% in Q2
Unemployment in Cyprus fell below 6% in the second quarter of 2023, while the labor force grew by an annual 2.45% in the same period, according to the results of the Labor Force Survey released on Wednesday by the Statistical Service of Cyprus (CyStat).

Unemployment rate rose slightly in April
Türkiye's unemployment rate inched up from 10.1 percent in March to 10.2 percent in April, the data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) have shown.
The number of unemployed people increased by 74,000 from March to 3.89 million in April.
The unemployment rate among men was 8.1 percent, and among women was 14.3 percent.

Unemployment rate in Türkiye at 10.4 percent in 2022
The number of unemployed people aged 15-years-old and over decreased by 337,000 to 3.58 million in 2022 compared to the previous year, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced on March 23.
The unemployment rate decreased by 1.6 percentage points to 10.4 percent, being estimated at 8.9 percent for men and 13.4 percent for women.

142,000 Unemployed in the Second Quarter of 2019
In the second quarter of 2019, the total number of employed people aged 15 and over is 3 262.8 thousand, of which 1 733.2 thousand men and 1 529.7 thousand women. The relative share of employed persons in the population aged 15 and over is 54.7%, with a share of 60.5% for men and 49.2% for women, the NSI reported.

Unemployment rate drops to 3.8 pct in Q2 2019, with highest level in youths
The unemployment rate dropped to 3.8 pct in Q2 of this year and the highest level, 15 pct, was recorded among youths aged 15 to 24, according to data of the National Institute of Statistics published on Thursday. As compared to the previous quarter, the unemployment rate dropped by 0.3 percentage points in the April-June period.
Bulgaria's Unemployment Rate For Q4 is 4.7%
Bulgaria's unemployment rate dropped to 4.7% in the fourth quarter of 2018 from 5.6% in the same period 2017, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Thursday, quoted by SeeNews.
Youth unemployment, covering persons in the age bracket 15-29 years, dropped to 7.4% in the period under review from 9.4% in the fourth quarter of 2017, NSI said in a quarterly labour force survey.

76% of the Employed in Bulgaria Work in the Private Sector
In the third quarter of 2018 the number of unemployed people was 168.3 thousand, of which 97.2 thousand (57.7%) were men and 71.1 thousand (42.3%) were women. The unemployment rate is 5%, for men 5.4% and for women 4.5%, and decreases by 0.8 percentage points compared to the same period in 2017, reports money.bg

Sofia. The unemployment rate is lower by 0.8 percentage points in the second quarter of 2018 compared to the same period in 2017, according to the National Statistical Institute. The employment rate for population aged 15-64 was 67.9%, up by 0.7 percentage points compared to the same quarter of 2017.
Greek unemployment at 20.7 percent in October
Greece's jobless rate eased to 20.7 percent in October from an upwardly revised 20.8 percent in September, the country's statistics service ELSTAT said on Thursday.
