Explosion damages pastry shop in Pangrati
A homemade bomb attack has been reported at a pastry shop in the central Athens neighborhood of Pangrati in the early hours of Friday.
Around 2.30 a.m., unknown individuals broke the shop's glass window and threw an explosive device inside, causing material damage to the store, which is located on Pyrronos Street. A vehicle parked next to the shop was also damaged.

NGO welcomes govt plan for coal phaseout by 2033
Ljubljana/Šoštanj/Velenje – Focus has welcomed the government’s proposal to phase out coal in Slovenia by 2033, saying this is the most sensible decision given the three potential scenarios to restructure Slovenia’s two coal regions. Still, it believes that given the Paris Agreement, Slovenia should drop coal by 2030, just like 14 other EU members.

Three People Injured in a Series of Explosions in Bangkok
Three people were injured in a series of explosions this morning in Bangkok. Shortly after 9am local time, three homemade bombs exploded within minutes.
The attack was carried out in the area of a government complex.
