Zasavje region to produce green hydrogen
The Zasavje region in central Slovenia, which has abandoned coal and is now focusing on carbon-free technologies, plans to set up two major facilities for the production of renewable hydrogen with the help of free advice from UK energy consultancy Element Energy.

Gas, electricity prices hiked
Natural gas and electricity prices have been hiked, authorities have announced, citing rising costs globally.
Electricity prices for households were increased by 20 percent, effective Sept. 1, the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) said in a statement.
Under the new tariff, households will pay 173.5 Turkish Liras/100 kilowatts per hour.

53 tons of waste collected from Marmara Sea
Some 53 tons of waste have been collected in nine months within the scope of a project initiated to carry out awareness training on marine cleaning in the Marmara Sea.
According to the report, between September 2021 and June 2022, 52.5 tons of waste, equivalent to the daily waste generated by approximately 46,000 people, were collected and recycled.
