Mytilineos nears green energy deal in North America

Mytilineos is close to reaching an agreement on green energy in North America, Evangelos Mytilineos, chairman and CEO of Mytilineos Energy & Metals, told Bloomberg TV on Tuesday.

In an interview, Mytilineos said that the framework in North America is very attractive and noted that in Europe the system is more bureaucratic and things move more slowly.

Djedovic meets with Lorkowski

BELGRADE - Work on an integrated national energy and climate plan and a strategy of energy sector development is in the final phase and their adoption is due by the end of the year, Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic said at a meeting with Energy Community Secretariat Director Artur Lorkowski on Tuesday.

IEA commendations and recommendations for Greece

Greece is to be commended for its response to the global energy crisis triggered by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the International Energy Agency (IEA) said in a report released on Thursday.

IEA also commended Greece for its National Climate Law, which sets ambitious decade-by-decade targets for bringing down greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050.
