EPİAŞ and EXX sign deal on Turkish ETS
The Turkish energy exchange Enerji Piyasaları İşletme A.Ş. (EPİAŞ) and the European Energy Exchange (EEX) have signed a memorandum of understanding to underline their joint commitment to developing the Emissions Trading System (ETS) in Türkiye.

Nord Stream Shuts Down for 10 days due to Planned Repairs
Russian gas deliveries via Nord Stream - the main pipeline for gas exports from Russia to Europe - will be temporarily suspended from this morning until July 21 due to planned annual maintenance work on the pipeline. In this way, natural gas from Russia will continue to enter Western and Central Europe through only one transit line through Ukraine.

Trading exchange to help reform Greek power market
Greece plans to launch a power trading exchange next year to reform its electricity market in line with European plans for an interconnected energy grid which will help cut costs and improve energy security, it said on Tuesday.
Greece's wholesale electricity market is currently based on a mandatory pool system.
