In his show at the 21st Istanbul Jazz Festival, Hugh Laurie did just that, acknowledging that he was known for having a part in a successful television show. From then, he never looked back - neither did the thousands in the audience.

Pink Floyd To Release New Album in October?

Pink Floyd may be releasing a new record this fall, according to guitarist David Gilmour's wife Polly Samson, who tweeted the news on Saturday morning, reports Yahoo! Music.

"Btw Pink Floyd album out in October is called 'The Endless River'" Polly Samson tweeted. "Based on 1994 sessions is Rick Wright's swansong and very beautiful."

Sara Brightman to Perform in Sofia in November

British singer Sara Brightman will perform in Sofia's Arena Armeets on November 12, announced the promoters Karma Events and Balkan Entertainment Company. 

The show is part of the SARAH-Greatest Hits Tour and will be Brightman's first performance in Bulgaria. 

Tickets, priced BGN 80-150 go on sale on June 19 in the Eventim.bg online platform and box offices.

British singer-songwriter Marianne Faithfull hospitalized in Rhodes with broken hip

British singer and songwriter Marianne Faithfull has been hospitalized after falling and breaking her hip while on holiday in Greece, a surgeon said on Sunday.

The 67-year-old ex-lover of Rolling Stones` frontman, Mick Jagger, fell on Friday on the Eastern Aegean island of Rhodes.

Mick Jagger Becomes a Great-Grandfather

Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger has officially become a great-grandfather. 

Assisi Jackson, Jagger's 21-year-old granddaughter, gave birth to a baby girl over the weekend, The Daily Mail reports. CBS News confirms that the baby's name has not been revealed, also noting that this is the first child for Jackson and 25-year-old boyfriend Alex Key. 

Queen Elizabeth to Meet Pope Francis

Britain's Queen Elizabeth II is to meet Pope Francis at the Vatican.

The first meeting between Elizabeth and the Pope elected in 2013 (which is also the fifth time the Queen will meet a head of the Roman Catholic Church) is due to take place on Thursday.

Earlier that day, Elizabeth II had lunch with Italian President Giorgio Napolitano.
