Brexit Deadline Delayed

The UK has formally called for another postponement of Brexit. Prime Minister Boris Johnson was forced to send a letter to the European Council.

Johnson, however, did not personally sign the letter officially requesting an extension. The prime minister, in a separate letter to Tusk, made clear that he personally opposes such an extension.

Boris Johnson: UK Will Leave the EU even if the Agreement Is Rejected

Britain will leave the EU on October 31, even if the Brexit agreement is rejected by the deputies, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said, quoted by BTA.

"We will leave the EU on October 31," Johnson said ahead of tomorrow's vote on the agreement in the British Parliament. He assured that the agreement negotiated with the EU provides the best way out of the Brexit crisis.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will send a letter to the European Union asking for Brexit postponement if no agreement is reached with the EU on the parting on October 19, government documents submitted to a Scottish court show.
