Joksimovic: I do not expect Croatia to block us
BELGRADE - The opening of the first chapters of the accession talks with the EU in June is a possibility, but even if it does not happen, Serbia will not stand still when it comes to EU integration, Serbia's Minister without Portfolio in charge of EU integration Jadranka Joksimovic has told the daily Vecernje novosti.

Bulgaria Is Not Among Worst Performers in EU Funds Absorption - President
Bulgaria's operations with EU funds have improved substantially over the past few years, according to President Rosen Plevneliev.
Speaking Friday at a conference in Brussels organized by the Centre for European Policy Studies, Bulgaria's head of state said that Bulgaria was not on the list of EU countries with the highest rates of EU funds fraud of the European Court of Auditors.
Bosnia on the Road to EU Accession
A declaration was adopted by Bosnia and Herzegovina's parliament on Monday, stating the political willingness of he country representatives to comply with EU criteria for member accession.

Friedrich: Serbia has key role in stabilization of Balkans
BERLIN - Peter Friedrich, Baden-Wuerttemberg's minister for the Bundesrat, Europe and International Affairs in the Bundesrat (Federal Council), has said that Serbia plays a crucial role in stabilization of the Balkans, adding that Belgrade has to work at full speed on normalization of relations with Pristina.

Association process is marathon
BELGRADE - Latvian Ambassador Ivars Pundurs has expressed hope that during the current Latvian presidency of the EU, chapters will be opened in Serbia's accession negotiations with the EU in the first six months of 2015, noting that the accession process is not a sprint, but a marathon.
