Fewer firms are shutting down
Fewer enterprises shut down in the first half of 2014 compared with the same period in the previous two years, but there was also a drop in the number of new businesses, according to data from the General Commercial Register (GEMI).

Gov't package aimed at creating jobs
BELGRADE - The entire package of government measures is geared towards creating as many jobs as possible, Serbian Minister of Economy Dusan Vujovic has said.
The planned EUR 1.2 billion loan package is actually intended for small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurs, with certain tax relief for job creation, he said.
