Romania will find itself in pole position when the engines of the world economy will be restarted after the crisis generated by Covid-19, as increasingly more foreign investors are willing to bet on Romanian business ideas, says Bianca Tudor, founder of Elite Business Women.

Some 100,000 small and very small businesses will never reopen after the end of the coronavirus lockdown, a report by the Institute of Small Enterprises of the Hellenic Confederation of Professionals, Craftsmen & Merchants (IME-GSEVEE) estimates.

Cyprus' cabinet on Wednesday approved the island's lockdown exit strategy, which foresees the resumption of the operation of vital sectors of the economy in early May.

Speaking after the cabinet meeting, Finance Minister Constantinos Petrides said the exit plan consists of three stages, which extend until the end of 2021.
