Urban planning control legislation submitted
Legislation concerning the new process of urban planning controls and demolitions, the establishment of the Water Management Organization of Thessaly and the new model of biomass management in forests is included in the Environment Ministry's omnibus bill submitted to Parliament on Monday, after a 10-day consultation period.

Ministry launches major food inspection campaign
Officials from the Agriculture Ministry will conduct food inspections at restaurants, hotels, cafes and other eateries until Sept. 8 to ensure that products offered at those venues comply with health regulations.
The inspections, which started on Aug. 21, will be carried out simultaneously in all 81 provinces of the country.

Demolition protocol issued for illegal constructions at Mykonos beach bar
A demolition protocol was issued on Friday for illegal constructions at a beach bar in Psarou on the island of Mykonos.
The protocol was issued following inspections carried out by environmental inspectors from the Ministry of Environment between April 4th and 11th.
The owner has the right to appeal the demolition decision within ten days.
Illegal activity on Mykonos under scrutiny
A team of inspectors dispatched to Mykonos to investigate allegations of widespread zoning and building violations returned to Athens on Wednesday and is expected to start drafting the report with its findings.

Bulgaria: Masks will be Mandatory in Hospitals in Cities with many COVID Cases
The Ministry of Health will today order the regional health inspectorates (RHI) to issue a prescription for the wearing of protective masks in medical facilities in the cities with the highest incidence of COVID-19. This was announced by the chief state health inspector Angel Kunchev, quoted by BTA.
Checks for "Green Certificates" in Bulgaria Start Tomorrow
This was the last weekend without fines in restaurants if you do not have a green certificate. The promise of the health services is to start intensified inspections and fines from tomorrow.
In order to meet the new requirements, owners of restaurants in Plovdiv are already opening points for quick tests.
Sofia: Ministry of Interior and RHI Check for Green Certificates in Restaurants
Teams of the Ministry of Interior and the Regional Health Inspectorate in Sofia have started inspections of restaurants and their visitors for a green certificate.
The action started after midnight, when the order of the Minister of Health came into force.
The inspections will continue in the coming days.
