Seven were the measles cases found in Burgas, confirmed for Darik the health inspectorate. Only two new cases have been registered in the last week of April, it is clear from the RHI bulletin.
The first case of measles for this year in the area was from early March.

107 Cases of Measles Reported in Blagoevgrad Region
Some 107 cases of measles have been reported in the Blagoevgrad region, according to the site of the Regional Health Inspection - Blagoevgrad. On 2 April, 6 children aged 1 to 5 were hospitalised. They were admitted to the infectious disease wards in hospitals in Gotse Delchev and Blagoevgrad. So far, 600 contacts of measles cases have been identified.
The Strain of Measles in Bulgaria Has Been Imported From Italy or Germany
Cases of measles in Bulgaria are increasing. They are already 92. The districts Blagoevgrad, Burgas, Plovdiv, Sofia and Sofia-city are affected.
First Cases of Measles in Plovdiv and Burgas
The Ministry of Health has reported 66 cases of measles. Of these, 41 are laboratory-confirmed, the Bulgarian National Television writes.
Territoryally, 5 districts in the country were affected: Blagoevgrad - 48 patients, Sofia-city - 8 patients, Sofia-district - 8 patients, Burgas - 1 ill and Plovdiv - 1 ill.

Turkish Health Minister urges parents to get their kids vaccinated
Turkey's Health Minister Fahrettin Koca has once again urged parents to get their children vaccinated to prevent potential measles cases.
First Measles Case in Child in Plovdiv Region
The first case of a child infected with measles was registered in the Plovdiv region, Dr. Monika Troyancheva from the Regional Health Inspectorate told Focus Radio. The child, from Parvomay, is under the age for vaccination. On March 2, the diagnosis was confirmed by the National Reference Laboratory. The child is now in good health and has been released from hospital.
