12 smuggled historical artifacts to be brought to country
Twelve historical artifacts previously smuggled from Türkiye will be brought to the country as of March 22, Culture and Tourism Ministry Mehmet Nuri Ersoy has stated.
Restoration to start at quake-hit assets
Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy met on March 14 with industry representatives in the tent set up at the Hatay Archaeology Museum in the quake-hit province of Hatay.
Ersoy said that they had started to carry out the decisions made within the scope of the Hatay Cultural Heritage Survival Project.

Tourism revenue target revised to $44 billion
Türkiye has once again revised its tourist arrival and tourism revenue targets for 2022 upward to 50 million and $44 billion, respectively, Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy has announced.
Tourism activity is strong in October, Ersoy said at an event in Istanbul, adding that this year's figures will be close to that of 2019.

Maiden’s Tower to be opened to visitors next March
The Culture and Tourism Ministry is aiming to open the Maiden's Tower, whose restoration works have been going on since September 2021, to visitors by next March, Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy has said.
"We gave the building a tower museum format so that a structure that Istanbulites watch from afar will now become a structure from which they watch Istanbul from the inside," Ersoy said.
