Turkey, Kosovo sign cinematographic cooperation deal
Turkey and Kosovo signed an intergovernmental cinematographic cooperation agreement on Dec. 3 in the Turkish capital Ankara.
The agreement was signed by Turkey's Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy and his Kosovar counterpart Vlora Dumoshi at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism building.
Netflix to open office in Istanbul
Netflix, an American-based streaming service, in line with their latest investment in Turkey, has announced to open their office in Istanbul, Turkey's prominent metropolitan city.
This step will create a more powerful way for productions in Turkey to be promoted worldwide, according to a statement made by Netflix, which has 195 million subscribers worldwide.

Turkish tourism sector may shrink 70% due to pandemic: Minister
Turkey's tourism sector will likely shrink 70% this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, the country's culture and tourism minister said on Nov. 26.
"It looks like we will end 2020 with slightly over $11 billion in tourism revenues and over 15 million travelers," Mehmet Nuri Ersoy said in an online session of the 10th International Resort Tourism Congress.
Restoration in Istanbul’s iconic tower creates political firestorm
Cell phone footage of restoration workers drilling down the stone wall of Istanbul's 14th-century Galata Tower created a political firestorm. An officer of the Istanbul Municipality tweeted a clip of two restoration workers taking apart a corner section of the tower's inner wall with jackhammers. A pile of large stones lay at their feet as they worked.
Turkey to reopen all tourism facilities as of July: Minister
As of July, Turkey will resume all those tourism facilities planned to be reopened as part of the normalization process, said the country's culture and tourism minister on June 10.
Speaking to CNN Turk, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy commented on the revival of tourism in the country.
'City of gladiators’ ready for visitors
The ancient city of Kibyra, also known as the "city of gladiators," in southwestern Turkey is set to become a new tourist hotspot.
The 2,300-year-old city is located among juniper and cedar forests in the Gölhisar district of Burdur province at an altitude of 1,350 meters (4,429 feet).
