The Federation of the Caucasian Associations in Turkey (KAF-FED) will hold a conference on the 150th anniversary of the Circassian exile in Ankara on Dec. 13-14, within the scope of Human Rights week.
Some 18.3 million Romanians aged 18 and over are eligible to vote in the presidential elections. In total, 18,550 polling stations will open across Romania. Another 294 are available for Romanian citizens living abroad.
The leader of the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (UDMR) Kelemen Hunor, running for president in the early November elections told a public debate in this central-western Romanian city late on Thursday that Romanians must accept their country is a multinational state and that trust is a pre-condition to a good relation between the ethnic groups.
