Ukraine is at crossroads - OSCE chairperson

VIENNA -- Ukraine is currently at a crossroads - between whether the clashes will continue, or if work will be done on the peace option, Ivica Dacic has said.

The centre-left government of Prime Minister Victor Ponta has approved a new five-year strategy designed to bring about the social inclusion of members of the marginalised Roma community.

It aims to address key issues related to education, health, employment and housing for this impoverished section of society.

OSCE announces members of panel on European security

BELGRADE, VIENNA -- The composition of the OSCE's Panel of Eminent Persons on European Security as a Common Project was revealed on Tuesday.

Turkey could become a high-income nation within five years if the government boosts productivity and embraces much needed structural reforms to improve the rule of law, the World Bank's country director said late on Jan. 12.
