Trust in TV and radio as news source lower in Greece than EU average

Trust in public television and radio stations as a source of news is lower in Greece than in the rest of the European Union, according to a Eurobarometer survey published by the European Parliament.

While 48% of European citizens trust most public TV and radio stations as a source of news, only 39% of Greeks do.

Eurobarometer: One in three Slovenians happy with state of democracy

Ljubljana – Slovenians are quite happy with their life in general but only one out of three is happy with the way democracy works in their country, a Eurobarometer survey conducted across the EU has shown.

As many as 89% of the Slovenians included in the survey are happy with their life, which is above the EU average of 83%.

Slovenians distrustful of government on EU recovery funds

Brussels – Slovenians are the least likely of all EU citizens to trust their government that EU recovery funds will be used properly, according to a Eurobarometer survey commissioned by the European Parliament as a contribution to the debate ahead of Wednesday’s State of the Union speech by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
