Politicians claim that Bulgaria has been Sending Military Aid and Weapons to Ukraine since the Start of the War

Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov stated that, with the intention of providing more decisive military aid to Ukraine, the government strictly complies with the decisions of the National Assembly on this issue. This is how Denkov responded to what was stated today by Rumen Radev, according to whom the cabinet is increasingly pushing Bulgaria to participate in the war:

President Radev: The New Government is pushing Bulgaria ever closer to War

"The course of the new government is to push Bulgaria ever closer to war. I do not consider it appropriate for politicians with modest electoral support to speak and undertake such heavy commitments on behalf of Bulgaria," President Rumen Radev insisted.

He reminded that the main duty of every government is to guarantee the security and tranquility of the Bulgarian citizens.

Bulgaria's Deputy PM: Our priorities are Schengen and Eurozone Membership

"The priorities of the new government are Bulgaria's accession to Schengen and the Eurozone". This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maryia Gabriel after a meeting with the ambassadors of EU countries, which took place in the Boyana residence.

Bulgaria’s PM has made a 6-Month Schengen-Related Commitment to the Dutch PM

"The Netherlands is carefully monitoring the actions for judicial reform in Bulgaria and appreciates the efforts in this direction", it became known from a telephone conversation between Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov and his Dutch colleague Mark Rutte, reports the government press service.

Bulgaria's Exports Exceed 50 Billion Dollars

Bulgarian exports continue to grow and in 2022 reached 50.25 billion dollars, or 21% more than in 2021, when it was 41.9 billion dollars. This is stated in an analysis of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce.

Bulgaria climbed to 57th place in the world in terms of exports from 59th place a year earlier. In the EU, the country retains 20th place - both for 2021 and 2022.
