Bulgaria: WCC-DB with Seven Conditions for GERB in order to Still have a Government

The co-chairman of "We Continue the Change" Kiril Petkov announced that together with their coalition partner "Democratic Bulgaria" they decided to confirm the declaration of the "Denkov-Gabriel" cabinet, however, they set seven conditions in order for their joint rule with GERB to continue.

Politicians claim that Bulgaria has been Sending Military Aid and Weapons to Ukraine since the Start of the War

Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov stated that, with the intention of providing more decisive military aid to Ukraine, the government strictly complies with the decisions of the National Assembly on this issue. This is how Denkov responded to what was stated today by Rumen Radev, according to whom the cabinet is increasingly pushing Bulgaria to participate in the war:

"The course of the new government is to push Bulgaria ever closer to war. I do not consider it appropriate for politicians with modest electoral support to speak and undertake such heavy commitments on behalf of Bulgaria," President Rumen Radev insisted.

He reminded that the main duty of every government is to guarantee the security and tranquility of the Bulgarian citizens.

Bulgaria's Exports Exceed 50 Billion Dollars

Bulgarian exports continue to grow and in 2022 reached 50.25 billion dollars, or 21% more than in 2021, when it was 41.9 billion dollars. This is stated in an analysis of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce.

Bulgaria climbed to 57th place in the world in terms of exports from 59th place a year earlier. In the EU, the country retains 20th place - both for 2021 and 2022.
