According to preliminary calculations by Frontex, approximately 380,000 people irregularly entered into the EU last year, the highest level since 2016.
Two migrants found dead, 30 rescued off Lesvos
Two migrants were killed and 30 were rescued in Greece on Wednesday after a dinghy crashed into rocks in high winds on the island of Lesvos, local authorities said.

Body identified in Raptor freighter sinking
Greek authorities confirmed on Monday the identification of the body discovered at sea on Sunday as that of an Egyptian sailor from the crew of the sunken freighter Raptor. The vessel sank off the coast of Lesvos on Sunday morning, leaving 12 out of the 14 crew members still missing.
