Jyrki Katainen: EU Plans to Encourage Development of Small and Medium Enterprises

The European Commission would like to encourage investments on the part of the private sector into the economy of all EU countries.

This will be one of the main goals of the Investment plan for Europe, as stated by the European Commissioner for Jobs, Growth, Investment and Competitiveness, Jyrki Katainen.

Commissioner Hogan: My first visit while in office to Romania, due to determination to carry on with Ciolos's projects

European Commissioner for Agriculture Phil Hogan visits Romania

The European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development Phil Hogan pays an official visit to Romania on Thursday and Friday; he is to meet Prime Minister Victor Ponta, Agriculture Minister Daniel Constantin and the joint Committees for Agriculture of the Romanian Senate and Chamber of Deputies.
