Disillusioned with political promises and with the justice system in Albania, relatives of a victim of January 21st, 2011 protest in Tirana have asked the European Parliament to help push forward the investigation.

PM Ponta asks ministers to prepare priorities for presentation to Parliament

Iohannis to call consultations with parties over funding Army 2 pct of GDP from 2017
President Klaus Iohannis announced on Tuesday he will call consultations with the parliamentary parties with a view to forging an agreement meant to provide 2 percent of gross domestic product to defence starting 2017 and keeping such goal for at least ten years.

Boston bombing trial set to open
The trial of the only suspect in the Boston bombings begins Monday with jury selection, 20 months after the attack that turned the city's annual marathon into a scene of carnage.
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 21, a young Muslim of Chechen origin, faces the death penalty for the bombing that was the worst act of terror on US soil since the September 11 attacks in 2001.
