Restriction for Trucks on Hemus Highway
The Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) announced that it will stop the movement of trucks over 12 tons in a 17-kilometer section of the Hemus motorway for a little more than 24 hours.
From 12 noon on July 25 (Sunday) to 2 pm on July 26 (Monday) the traffic of heavy trucks between the 47th and 30th km of the motorway in the direction of Sofia is stopped.

Section of Struma Highway will Remain Closed to Traffic for at Least 3 Weeks
Struma motorway will be fully open to traffic within three weeks at the earliest, the Road Infrastructure Agency said on August 15. The stretch near Dupnitsa remained closed as a result of the huge fire at a secondary raw material facility in the area. It is unclear how much the repair will cost after the damages caused by the fire on the motorway bridge structure.
Bulgaria and EU Share Road Funding
The Bulgarian government has promised almost €380 million to fund the construction of a 23.6km section of the Struma motorway, between Kresna and Krupnik in the southwest of the country, reports khl.

Landslide Curbs Traffic on Bulgaria's Lyulin Motorway
A landslide has hampered traffic on Lyulin motorway linking Bulgaria's capital city of Sofia with the border with Greece on Sunday.
The landslide has closed two of the three right-hand side lanes of the motorway between the first and the second tunnel in the direction of Sofia, the government's Road Infrastructure Agency announced.
Bulgaria Launches Section of Struma Motorway Between Sandanski, Greek Border
Lot 4 of Struma motorway between the Bulgarian town of Sandanski and the Kulata border checkpoint at the frontier with Greece will be officially launched on Thursday.
The project has been co-funded under the Transport Operational Programme 2007-2013.
Lot 2 of Bulgaria's Struma Motorway to Be Launched by End of October
The traffic on lot 2 of the Struma motorway between the Bulgarian towns of Dupnitsa and Blagoevgrad, will be launched by the end of October.
This was announced by Bulgarian Regional Minister Lilyana Pavlova, who inspected the construction works on the section of the motorway on Sunday.
Greek Aktor Working Round-the-Clock to Finish Struma Motorway Lot 4 by August
Asphalt is now being laid on the Struma motorway section between Sandanski and Kulata, whose completion has been repeatedly delayed.
The 15-kilometer motorway section is being built by Greek construction company Aktor.
Two Poles Hospitalized as Train Hits Truck
A train en route to Sofia from Bulgaria's southwest has collided with a freight truck, leaving two Polish citizens injured.
No passengers of the train have been left injured. The two Poles, who drove the truck, have been taken to hospital.
The incident took place near the village of Mursalevo, nearly halfway through to the capital, at 19:00 EET (17:00 GMT).

Lot 2 of Bulgaria’s Struma Motorway to Be Ready by end-October 2015
The deadline for the completion of construction works at Lot 2 of the Struma motorway is October 2015, according to Bulgarian Regional Development Minister Lilyana Pavlova.
On Sunday, Pavlova conducted a sudden inspection of the progress of the 38km motorway section connecting Dupnitsa and Blagoevgrad.
Tenders Launched for 2 Sections of Struma Motorway Lot 3
The first stage of the selection of a contractor for two sections of lot 3 of the Struma motorway has started.
The National Company Strategic Infrastructure Projects (NCSIP) has launched tenders for the designing and construction of the motorway sections Blagoevgrad – Krupnik, including a 2km tunnel at the village of Zheleznitsa and Kresna – Sandanski.
