Athens ranks very low in the Expat City Ranking 2020, published on Thursday by InterNations, the world's largest expat community with around 4 million members.

Out of 66 cities in the Expat City Ranking 2020, Athens ranks 50th. 

It ranks best in the Local Cost of Living Index (20th) and worst in the Urban Work Life Index (64th). 

A venue that recently made it onto the World's 10 Best Bars list, the Athens Hilton's penthouse Galaxy Bar will host the latest InterNations event on Wednesday for expatriate members and guests.

Expat Explorer 2015, in its eight year, is one of the largest studies of people living and working abroad. The goal of Expat Explorer is to present one of the largest surveys to give findings of expat life. Last year, almost 9,300 expats based in over 100 countries were questioned between April and May 2014.
