A Turkish expedition team, departed for Antarctica to set up a temporary scientific research base, arrived in the world’s coldest continent on Feb. 4.

Turkey's 3rd national scientific expedition to Antarctica is set to begin next week for meteorological researches on the coldest continent on earth, according to an official statement.

A replica of the first Bulgarian building of Antarctica, built 30 years ago, will become part of the collection of the National Museum of History. This was announced today by the director of the museum, Associate Professor Bonnie Petrunova and the head of our Antarctic expedition, Hristo Pimpirev.
