Farmers markets, supermarket admissions being restricted

Farmers' Markets Selling Organic Products to Open in Five Bulgarian Cities
Specialised farmers' markets selling organic products will be opened in five Bulgarian cities - Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas and Veliko Tarnovo.
Only certified producers will be able sell their produce at these markets, private bTV station informs.
In order to be eligible to sell at the markets, producers will have to possess certificates for each of the exhibited products.
Farmer Market Fest Showcases Organic Food
The first Farmer Market Fest will take place in Sofia this Friday at the central entrance of Sofia's Zaimov park between 1 PM and 8 PM.
Besides the stalls with organic products, the festival will feature discussions on direct sales of farmer products, presentations, culinary demonstrations, food tastings and live music.

Sofia Municipality To Open an Organic Market
The Sofia City Council voted to turn the Rimskata Stena open air market into a farmers' market for organic production, reports Sega daily.
The Council allowed the municipal company Markets East to spend up to BGN 20 000 for the preparation of an investment project for the renovation.
