Historical Galata Bridge on Golden Horn bids farewell to Istanbul
Istanbul's old Galata Bridge, which connected two important centers of the city for eight decades before it was taken to a rear point on the Golden Horn for restoration following damage from a major fire, has been entirely removed.

The explosives used in the deadly Dec. 10 Beşiktaş terror attack "are not ordinary ammunition," Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmuş said after a cabinet meeting on Dec. 12.
A thorough investigation to identify the source of the explosives is still being conducted, he added.

Huge fire breaks out at plastic factory in Istanbul
There were no initial reports of injuries or casualties and there were also no reports about the cause of the fire, according to Doğan News Agency.
The incident occurred at a factory producing rubber and plastic at the Baltaş industrial estate in Bayrampaşa at 10:30 a.m.
