Grand Bazaar named Istanbul's 'most valuable point'
The Grand Bazaar has been named the ?most valuable spot? in Istanbul, with rent worth around $3,500 per square meter per month, according to a new study by Turkey?s Eva Real Estate Valuation Consultancy.
The Kalpakç?lar Caddesi, a street in the Grand Bazaar full of jewelry and gold shops, is the most expensive street in the Grand Bazaar, according to the study.

Ship crashes into mansion by Istanbul's Bosphorus
A 106-meter-long Sierra Leone-flagged dry cargo vessel named the Majed and Randy crashed into the Ethem Pertev mansion, which dates back to the 1860's, on the shore of the Bosphorus in Istanbul at 12:54 p.m. on July 21 due to problem with the ship's rudder, thus causing pecuniary damage.
