EUR 60.2 mln in aid for Serbia from European Solidarity Fund
BRUSSELS - European Commissioner for Regional Policy Johannes Hahn announced on Friday an aid package worth nearly EUR 80 million for flood recovery in Serbia, Croatia and Bulgaria, out of which three-quarters will go to Serbia as the worst-affected.
Bulgaria Granted EU Flood Damage Aid of EUR 10.5 M
The EU Solidarity Fund (EUSF) has allocated a total of EUR 10 500 000 to Bulgaria in aid for flood damage.
The sum is part of a package worth EUR 80 M which is distributed among 3 flood-hit countries, including Serbia, Croatia and Bulgaria, according to reports of the Bulgarian National Radio.

Janmaat: Privatization or restructuring for monopolists
BELGRADE - Serbia should solve the issue of public companies which are monopolies, and it is up to the Serbian government to decide whether it will privatize or restructure them, said Freek Janmaat, official of the EU Delegation to Serbia.

BELGRADE -- EU Delegation head Michael Davenport says the European Commission (EC) recommended that the accession talks with Serbia start with Chapter 32.
This chapter concerns financial control.
