Here's How the World's First "Smart" Condom Looks Like (Video)

A British company has released the first photos of a "smart" condom that gathers very intimate data about the sexual life of anyone who has the courage to use it.

The device is called i.Con and can detect sexually transmitted diseases as well as send sex session data directly to the user's smartphone.

Mobile phones “kill” sex

A study of 2,000 adults about their ‘holiday sexpectations’ found that 52 per cent of respondents expected better sex whilst on holiday way, but 60 per cent admitted they didn’t. Durex condom company conducted a survey and 40 per cent of people said they are less likely to instigate sex if their partner is on their phone in bed.

Smart condom measures sexual performance!

Imagine if you could measure you sexual performance with a gadget. Well we have good news for you. The i.Con Smart Condom, from British Condoms, markets itself as the “world’s first smart condom”. What makes the i.Con different from the garden variety condom you can buy at the drugstore? It is actually a ‘smart’ ring that fits over a standard dumb condom and tracks your sexual activity.

Couple has sex with a plastic bag instead of a condom

A Vietnamese couple were left with serious injuries and ended up in hospital, after using a plastic bag as a condom. The boy was too shy to buy a condom and was having sex for the first time. The two undergraduates were taken to the Hanoi Nephrology Hospital with badly injured private parts, as the plastic bag was rough and lacked elasticity and lubrication.

What is the right condom size for you (chart)

The right condom size is often associated with pleasure alone during sex. But there are also medical reasons that we should take into account before using any size. If the condom is too wide it might come off during intercourse, while if it is too tight it could break. A short condom not completely covering the male member could lead to exchanging bodily fluids during sex.
