Violence broke out between supporters of Trabzonspor and players from Fenerbahçe after a Turkish top-flight league match on Sunday.
A crowd of home supporters invaded the pitch at Trabzonspor's stadium after the final whistle of an encounter that Fenerbahçe won 3-2.

Scouts to follow young talents in Istanbul’s derby
Turkey's most populous city, Istanbul, will host a meet of the country's main rivals, Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray, on April 10, with international scouts and football agents attending the "derby of the derbies" to keep eyes on the young talents of both teams.

Former chair of Turkish football giant dies
Mustafa Cengiz, the former chair of the Turkish football team Galatasaray, has died at the age of 71, according to a statement by the sports club.
"We lost the 37th president of Galatasaray Sports Club, Mustafa Cengiz. May God have mercy on our president. Our condolences to his family, loved ones and our community," it said in the statement.

Istanbul derby sides move on to European stage
Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, which clashed in an Istanbul derby over the weekend, appear on the European stage again on Nov. 25 when the former hosts Marseille in Istanbul and the latter visits Olympiacos in the Europa League.
Nov. 21's derby pitted the two teams against each other, with the visiting side Fenerbahçe claiming a 2-1 victory with a late goal.

All eyes on intercontinental derby between Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe

Turkish national amputee football team has yet again bagged the European Championship title by defeating Spain 6-0, marking the victory for the second time in a row.
The team clinched the trophy with a hat trick from Ömer Güleryüz, a brace from Kemal Güleş and a goal from Rahmi Özcan at Cracovia Stadium in Krakow, Poland.
