Bulgarian national football team fell into group "C" of the qualifiers in the "Europe" zone for the World Cup in Qatar in 2022.

The "Tricolors", who were in the fourth ballot box, will fight for a place in the first World Cup since 1998 against Italy, Switzerland, Northern Ireland and Lithuania. This was determined by the draw in Zurich.

The Turkish National Football Team's opponents in the European Qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup were revealed on Dec. 7. 

Turkey will play against the Netherlands, Norway, Montenegro, Latvia and Gibraltar in the European Qualifiers Group G.

The draw was held in Zurich, Switzerland via videoconference amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Croatia and Switzerland book their places in the 2018 World Cup on Nov. 12 by edging their opponents in the playoffs of the qualification stage in Europe.

The draw for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, which was held in Saint Petersburg on Saturday, determined tough opponents for the Bulgarian men's national football team.

Bulgaria was drawn in qualification group A along with the teams of the Netherlands, France, Sweden, Belarus and Luxembourg.

From June 12 to July 13, the most important soccer event of the year, 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil will be broadcast in Romania in exclusivity by public channels TVR 1, TVR 2, TVR HD and TVR+.
