The third edition of the Palestinian Film Festival begins on Thursday, with eight films to be screened online on the Eventbook platform for five days. German films at Istanbul Modern

Organized by Istanbul Modern Cinema in partnership with the Goethe-Institut Istanbul, Brand New Films from Germany celebrates its 12th year this winter. Comprising seven films that will be screened in the online program for the first time in Turkey, this year's program, titled "Stray Tales," will be organized between Nov. 26 and Dec. 6.

Six Italian comedies and dramas where food is very much the star - such as "Un americano a Roma" and "Brutti, sporchi e cattivi" - are being screened by the Italian Cultural Institute of Athens on its online platform through December 9. Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has been found dead at his Mumbai home, Indian media reported Sunday, citing police confirmation.

The 34-year-old star died in a suspected suicide, according to the Hindustan Times.

Several news outlets said Rajput was found hanged by his domestic help.
