Firefighting season launched with ban on risky activities
The fire service on Wednesday heralded the beginning of the firefighting season, which prohibits any kind of incineration or fires outdoors through October 31.
In its list, the fire service called on the public to avoid using equipment that releases sparks that could start a fire, as well as to refrain from barbecues, smoking out bee hives and wasps' nests, and burning trash.
Fire at a School in Plovdiv
Fire has been burning at the Kliment Ohridski Primary School in Plovdiv. The fire broke out early in the morning on Tuesday.
There are no injuries, the fire is controlled. The fire has begun from a student room that has burnt. There are also dameges in the school's toilets, bTV reports.

Firebombs hurled at police in Thessaloniki
Unidentified youths used homemade firebombs to target police stationed outside the Turkish Consulate in Thessaloniki early on Sunday.
The masked assailants lobbed Molotov cocktails at the police unit, prompting officers to respond with stun grenades and tear gas.
They also set fire to three garbage dumpsters before fleeing.

Large Scale Fire at TPP-Sliven, the Extinction of the Flames Continues
A big fire broke out last night at the District Heating Company - Sliven, and the extinguishing continues. According to information from the last minute, a fire is burning in the "Druzhba" quarter of Sofia. It is supposed that the flames are caused by the ignition of tires. Above the neighborhood there is thick dark smoke.
Fire Broke out at a School in Rousse
A fire broke out in the building of the Secondary School "Vazrazhdane" in Rousse.
The flames triggered the building's alarm system. A private security agency responsible for security at the school has arrived on the spot, and law enforcement officials were also called.
