Police arrested a 27-year-old man in northeastern Attica on Wednesday for selling flares and firecrackers on social media.
After receiving a tip, officers found that the suspect maintained a profile on a social media platform which he used to illicitly sell the explosives.

Explosive device goes off outside Alimos home
Police are investigating an attack with a homemade explosive device made of firecrackers and flammable liquid outside a home in the coastal suburb of Alimos south of Athens.
The explosion caused minor damage to the property and a car parked in the vicinity.
No injuries were reported.
