Bulgaria: 6 Injured 2 in Critical Condition after a Mass Brawl with Axes and Hoes in Kazanlak

Six people were injured in a mass fight in Kazanlak.

One woman has a fractured arm and two men are in critical condition.

One of the wounded has died, BGNES reported in the late afternoon.

They were taken to the emergency center in Kazanlak.

TV Executive Vows to Sue Bulgarian Nationalist MP

Venelin Petkov, the head of news, current affairs and sport at private channel bTV, said on Tuesday that he intends to sue United Patriots leader Valeri Simeonov for calling him and his colleague Anton Hekimyan corrupt during a broadcast on Bulgarian National Television.

"See you in court," Petkov wrote on Facebook in response to Simeonov's accusations.

The municipal council of Plovdiv has approved with a full majority a proposal linked to the planned Plovdiv airport concession, FOCUS Radio Plovdiv reports.

The meeting was called by mayor Ivan Totev who also submitted the proposal.

Sofia City Court Upholds Insolvency of CSKA Football Club

Sofia City Court (SGS) upheld the insolvency of Bulgarian football club CSKA Sofia and ruled that the club has been insolvent since 31 December 2014.

The court appointed a temporary assignee and the property of CSKA is subject to distraint, private NOVA TV informs.

The decision of the court, which was issued on October 2, can be appealed within a period of seven days.
