"It's confidential," Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic told a press conference on Thursday when asked how many ventilators the country has.
"At this moment, this is treated practically as a state secret in all countries," Brnabic said, but assured reporters that "Serbia has enough ventilators."
More flu jabs on the way this week
Amid heightened concerns over the rising mortality rate due to the flu virus, Health Minister Andreas Xanthos said over the weekend that 24,000 flu vaccines will be available at pharmacies this week, while another 26,000 are expected by the end of the month.

Death toll from flu since October rises to 56
The number of lives claimed in Greece by the H1N1 flu virus since October has risen to 56, according to a weekly report issued on Thursday by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (KEELPNO).
The center said that there were 17 deaths between February 4 and 10.
Of the 56 people that have died - 39 men and 17 women - 49 had been in intensive care units.

Girl, 8, dies after infection with H1N1 flu virus
An 8-year-old girl died in a Patra hospital in the early hours of Tuesday morning nearly a month after becoming infected with the H1N1 flu virus.
The child, identified only as Maria, was originally being treated at the city's Karamandaneio children's hospital but was transferred to the intensive care unit of Patra General Hospital when her condition deteriorated.

BELGRADE -- Svetlana Vukajlović Popržen has denied charges of having embezzled millions of dinars of state budget funds in a procurement of swine flu vaccines in 2009.
She is a former director of the Serbian Institute for Health Insurance.
