According to a study conducted by the European Commission's Joint Research Center on dual food quality in 19 EU member states, 9% of the products differed in composition, although their packaging was identical, the BNR reported.
The End of Fried Foods in Kindergartens in Bulgaria
The Bulgarian state prohibits the preparation and supply of fried foods, cakes, wafers and candies in kindergartens, children's care facilities, and children's camps. The ban was recorded as a change in the Ordinance on the Healthy Eating of Children aged 3 to 7 years.
Minced chicken, bamboo kids' dinner set withdrawn
The Hellenic Food Authority (EFET) on Friday ordered the withdrawal of minced chicken by the Arta brand trading under the name Kimas Kotopoulo Ellinikos Nopos after tests on a sample of the product revealed traces of salmonella.
