Turkish shoemaker scales tiny designs to 2 milimeters
Among the bustling workshops in the streets of Akyazı, Sakarya in the Marmara region, a 75-year-old craftsman makes the unimaginable— shoes that scale down from size 44 to a minuscule 2 millimeters, setting his sights on a Guinness World Record with his extraordinarily miniature designs.

Greece exported in 2023 to the American Samoa "footwear with outer soles made of rubber, plastic material, natural or reconstructed leather and the upper part of textile materials" and "transmission shafts (including camshafts and crankshafts) and cranks," the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) informs us.

Woman arrested for selling bootlegged clothing online
Police in Athens have arrested a 42-year-old woman on suspicion of setting up a website to sell bootlegged shoes and clothes to unsuspecting customers.
The shoes and clothes were advertised as being from leading brands but when buyers received the parcels, they found that the products differed from those advertised and were of low value.

Thousands of counterfeit goods seized in Athens factory raid
Members of the interdepartmental market control unit DIMEA found and seized thousands of bootleg goods from a clothing and footwear factory in Peristeri, western Athens, according to a statement released on Thursday.
A search on the factory turned up around 10,316 contraband items of clothing and footwear, of which 8,599 had brand imprints.
