The United States believes the Strategic Mechanism meetings to be held by the foreign ministers of the two countries, Hakan Fidan and Antony Blinken, in Washington this week constitute a very good opportunity for improving bilateral ties in almost all fields, including security, trade, energy and climate.

Greece and India have pledged to enhance bilateral cooperation following a meeting between Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Wednesday.

Just hours after participating in an important BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) summit in Durban, South Africa, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Athens on Friday.

The countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) unanimously approved Serbia's accession request to the Treaty on Friendship and Cooperation in Southeast Asia.

In a significant upgrade in bilateral relations and of deepening cooperation in areas of mutual interest, a Common Statement of Strategic Cooperation between Greece and Japan was signed on Monday by visiting Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and his Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida at the latter's residence in Tokyo.
