Proposed Euro Parliament Resolution Advocates Balkan Enlargement
MEPs from the Greens/EFA group in the European Parliament on Wednesday submitted a motion for a resolution condemning France for vetoing the opening of accession negotiations with Albania and North Macedonia during the European Council summit last week.

The foreign ministers of Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia and Romania discussed the upcoming talks at the European Council about the possibility of agreeing to launch membership talks with North Macedonia and Albania, during a meeting on the sidelines of the United Nations Climate Change Summit in New York.
"Serbia must be allowed to enter the EU prior to 2025"
Peter Szijarto, who is attending the meeting of the EU Council in Helsinki, says that Western Balkans integration into EU should happen fast.
He assessed that countries in the region had done the best they could to speed up the accession process. "Accession negotiations with Serbia must be accelerated, while Serbia should be allowed to enter EU prior to 2025", Szijatro said.

Dacic refused to reveal the identity of that country until Belgrade gets official note on this, he explained.
"Now, Pristina is not sure who to contact", Dacic added on a press conference, after the meeting with the Foreign Affairs Minister of Nicaragua, Denis Moncada.

Kosovo and Albania have signed an agreement on unifying and coordinating their foreign policy, which will include joint embassies.
Kosovo Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli visited his counterpart Gent Vakaj in Albania and they together signed the agreement on Tuesday.

Cheaper Roaming for the Countries of the Western Balkans
Roaming charges between Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina in July will be reduced by 27% and will have to be dropped completely in 2021, according to the recently signed Regional Roaming Treaty between the Western Balkan countries.
