Brnabic attends reception hosted by Prince Charles in London

The reception was organized by Prince Charles for the participants of the Western Balkans Summit.

The reception was attended by British Prime Minister Theresa May, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, former EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Katherine Ashton, Western Balkan prime ministers who took part in the summit, senior European officials and other guests.

Liberia annuls letter of recognition of Kosovo

Liberian Foreign Minister Gbehzohngar Milton Findley handed a diplomatic note to this effect to Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, during their meeting in Belgrade on Wednesday.

The note states that Liberia "recognized the independence of Kosovo based on its realization that Belgrade was not prepared to negotiate a solution with its Southern Province Kosovo."

According to the Serbian government, Dacic and Gajdos "assessed that bilateral relations of the two countries are traditionally good and friendly."

The officials "expressed mutual satisfaction with the intense and continuous political dialogue at all levels, and expressed interest in further deepening all aspects of bilateral, especially military cooperation."

In an op-ed for the Belgrade newspaper Politika published on Tuesday - and penned on the occasion of Russia's Statehood Day - Chepurin said that Belgrade is, when it comes to Kosovo, about to face "ultimatum pressure from traditional Serb-haters" - and that Russia has been and will be on the side of Serbia.

Pristina officials says UN mission "no longer needed"

"Peacekeepers are needed in conflict zones, but the existence of UNMIK in Kosovo is now unnecessary, because there is sustainable stability in the country. The mission of UNMIK should be completed and its budget allocated elsewhere," he wrote on Twitter.

Hoxhaj has previously stated that the UN mission in Kosovo should be abolished.

"Serbia is rich and developed and Kosovo is part of Serbia"

The country also respects UN Resolution 1244 which confirms that Kosovo is an integral part of Serbia.

This has been stated in Belgrade on Tuesday by President of the Assembly of Guinea-Bissau and President of the Executive Committee of the African Parliamentary Union Cipriano Cassama.

Cassama described Serbia as a rich and developed country.

"Opportunity to affirm EU as region's geostrategic choice"

European Council President Donald Tusk said in Sofia on Wednesday, Beta is reporting.

Tusk said that besides long-term prospects, the EU wanted to show that it took care of socio-economic development in the region and that he hoped the summit would bring the "friends from the Western Balkans" closer to the European Union.
