Show takes visitors back 150 years to Impressionism's birth

The Orsay Museum in Paris is marking 150 years of Impressionism today with an unprecedented reassembling of the masterpieces that launched the movement, and a virtual reality experience that takes visitors back in time.

Using VR technology, visitors to "Paris 1874: Inventing Impressionism" can take a plunge into the streets, salons and beauty spots that marked a revolution in art.

Two Serbian artists at Autumn Salon in Paris

BELGRADE - At this year's Autumn Salon (Salon d'Automne) in Paris, which will be held on October 12-16, two Serbian artists, Bojan Jovanovic and Irena Vujanovic, will present their work "Bokiki".

They have, as deemed by a panel of eminent judges, earned the right to be among the best and most authentic artists from 44 countries.

Peskirevic twins named ambassadors of Land of Impressionism

PARIS - Serbian painters and twin brothers Slobodan and Vladimir Peskirevic have officially been named Ambassadors of the Land of Impressionism, becoming the first in art history and history in general to receive such recognition.

As the originators of what the French refer to as new post-impressionism, the brothers won two top prizes in 2011.
