Mass Inspections of Gas Stations began after the Explosions in Romania
In Romania, the investigation into the causes of the explosion on Saturday night at a propane-butane depot 30 km from Bucharest continues. The accident took the lives of two residents of the town of Crevedia, and 58 people received severe burns. The majority of the injured are firefighters, policemen and gendarmerie.

Bulgaria: The Price for Natural Gas for August will be of 59.67 Leva per megawatt hour
The Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (EWRC) confirmed the price of natural gas for the month of August in the amount of 59.67 leva/MWh, excluding access, transmission, excise and VAT prices. At this price, "Bulgargaz" EAD will sell natural gas to final suppliers and to persons who have been issued a license for the production and transmission of thermal energy.
IGB ‘a game-changer’ in the energy market
The Greece-Bulgaria interconnector (IGB) will be a game-changer in the energy market, George Satlas, executive officer and board member of ICGB AD, the manager and commercial operator of the natural gas pipeline, told the Athens-Macedonian News Agency in an interview.

Dozens of companies interested in Greek gas grid capacity
Greece has received interest from 27 US and European companies in booking future capacity in its gas grid, which would allow them to import and export gas to Europe via the country in the coming decades, grid operator DESFA said on Thursday.
Elin, Blue Grid join forces for Attica’s first LNG-CNG station
The Elin gas station chain and Blue Grid on Wednesday announced that, as part of their collaboration, they are creating the first liquefied and compressed natural gas (LNG-CNG) station in Attica, at Thriassio, west of the capital, which is expected to be put into operation in the first quarter of 2024.

Nicosia eyes shipping corridor for gas exports
Cyprus wants to establish itself as a gateway from East Mediterranean gas resources to Europe via a shipping corridor of LNG carriers, its president said on Monday.
Cyprus' new centrist government, which came to power in February, has cooled to the idea championed by its predecessors of an "EastMed" pipeline transferring gas to Europe.
