Fukuoka earthquake

A 4.1 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale was recorded today off the Greek island of Crete, Turkish television CNN-Turk reported, citing the Directorate for Disaster Management and Emergencies. The quake occurred at 2:56 a.m. at sea at a depth of 4.95 kilometers.

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of up to 6.3 struck central Greece on Wednesday and was felt as far away as the capitals of neighboring Albania, North Macedonia, Kosovo and Montenegro.

There were no immediate reports of injuries. Local officials reported some structural damage, mainly to old houses and buildings that saw walls collapse or crack.

A strong 6.3-magnitude earthquake hit central Greece on March 3, the U.S. Geological Survey said, prompting residents in the city of Larissa to rush into the streets according to local media.

The Institute of Geodynamics in Athens said the quake, which could be felt across central and northern Greece, had measured at a magnitude of 6.0.

An earthquake shook Greece early this morning. A magnitude 5.1 quake on the Richter scale was recorded in the Patras area at 5:36 a.m., data from the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center showed.

The epicenter was at  22 km northeast of Patras, 16 km west-northwest of Aigio at a depth of 2 km.

An earthquake with preliminary magnitude 4 struck οn the island of Zakynthos in western Greece on Monday.

The Athens Geodynamic Institute said the quake occurred at 14.35 p.m. local time, 10 kilometers southwest of Zakynthos town, at a depth of 14 kilometers.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injury from the quake.

A new earthquake was registered this morning in Croatia. The quake was of 3.1 magnitude on the Richter Scale, according to the European Seismological Center.

The quake occurred at 7:46 a.m. local time. The epicenter was 43 km south-southeast of Zagreb.

A magnitude 4 earthquake on the Richter scale was registered at 1.50am on Wednesday in Olt region, southern Romania. The quake was at a depth of 10 km and was felt in Pleven, Bulgaria.

No casualties or destruction have been reported.

Since the beginning of the year, seven earthquakes with magnitude from 2 to 4 on the Richter scale have been recorded in Romanian.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 on the Richter scale was registered in Croatia. The epicenter is 49 km from Zagreb and 13 km from Sisak, the European Seismological Center reported.

The depth of the quake is 10 km. The quake was registered at 5:28 a.m.

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.7 struck the island of Evia on Wednesday, but there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

The Geodynamic Institute said the quake struck shortly after 9 a.m. local time around 24 kilometers south of the coastal town of Kymi at a depth of 5 kilometers.

The earthquake was felt in Athens.

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.8 jolted Athens on Wednesday. No damage or injuries were reported.
The University of Athens' Geodynamic Institute said the quake had an epicenter 26 kilometers west of Lavrio in southeastern Attica and occurred at 1.28 p.m. local time. Its depth was 10 kilometers.
